From her studies at Northern Illinois University, to her continuing courses at the Art Institute of Chicago, to the adoption of her first pet love: Sophie, Gretchen KISH Serrano has shared two equal passions — art and pets. Specializing in pet art for the past ten years, Gretchen created Paw Palettes, a pet art collection that includes more than 100 breeds of dogs and cats and over 250 works of art. The Paw Palettes
Art Collection has been licensed for a variety of products
sold worldwide.

A KISH original is not a traditional pet portrait, it is
a unique, artistic expression of your love for your pet. When commissioning a KISH you become part of the artistic process. The artist will discuss a variety of style options with you including a head-and-shoulders study inspired by the thick brush strokes of van Gogh; a contemporary work in the splatter-style of Jackson Pollock; and the beautiful 23kt
gilded works reminiscent of Gustav Klimt. Her love of art
and soulful connection with Sophie, and now Penelope, inspired Gretchen to paint vibrant works of art honoring
the exceptional bond we share with our pets.
